Material and care

The straps are made from faux leather with a reflective print finish on the outer face, backed by a soft woven lining where the strap sits against skin. Hand wash it in cool water with a mild soap, then lay it flat to dry away from direct heat, since a tumble dryer will crack the reflective coating over time. The buckles and stitching hold up to regular wear, though the reflective finish dulls a little faster than the strap itself if it gets folded sharply in the same spot each time it is stored.
