Will the colour match the photo?

Last updated: 2026-08-20

There can be a small difference, for two reasons:

  • Screen calibration: every phone and monitor renders colour slightly differently. The same photo looks different on two devices.
  • Studio lighting: lighting affects the sheen and tone of fabric. On satin and other glossy fabrics the difference is more visible.

Product photographs are shot to be as close to the real colour as possible and the tone is not altered in editing. Even so, in daylight an item can look a shade lighter or darker than on screen.

When is it a fault?

If a completely different colour arrives — black ordered, navy delivered — that is a fulfilment error. You have a right to a replacement or refund and the return shipping is not yours. Do not use the item; photograph it and follow faulty item.

A difference in shade is not a fault and falls under the normal return rules — which for opened intimate apparel may mean a return is not possible (see non-returnable items).
