How should I wash and store these items?

Always follow the item's care label — that is the binding instruction. The following is general guidance.

Lace, mesh and satin

• Hand wash in lukewarm water (not above 30°C).
• Use a mild detergent; no bleach or stain remover.
• Do not wring or twist. Press the water out in a towel.
• Dry in the shade, not in direct sunlight.
• If you must machine wash, use a mesh laundry bag and a delicate cycle.

Faux leather and harnesses

• Do not wash. Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry.
• Do not leave metal hardware damp — it can oxidise.
• Hang rather than fold; long folding leaves permanent creases.

Bras and bustiers

Machine washing underwired pieces can bend the wire. Store cups side by side rather than folded into each other.
